The Caravan Channel's latest TV prize draw has achieved a stunning 1,210 entries through both email and the show's phone line.

Some 776 people called in, and 444 sent emails.

The draw prize is a small but sophisticated satellite dish, free-to-receiver, and satfinder, valued at around £250, provided by specialist supplier Roadpro Ltd of Daventry.

Caravan Channel producer Chris Gosling says that the number of entries reflects the growing popularity and viewing range of the show. "We often have smaller prizes on offer, but this is our biggest single item," he said, "and having had this many replies, we'll now try to get more larger items as prizes!"
